Bio / Description of Coaching Practice: As a life coach, I meet people where they are and support them to identify and take concrete steps to move to where they want to be. After years of supporting friends and family affected by their own or others’ issues with problematic substance use and being a grateful member of Al Anon, I started my life coach recovery career in January 2018. I also bring to my practice more than 20 years experience in conflict resolution and cultural awareness gained through my "day job" in international conflict resolution and peace building. I am a voracious researcher and reader and enjoy learning about the latest in neuroscience, harm reduction, and personal growth. I am passionate about life coaching because it recognizes that the client is the expert on him/herself and is an empowering approach that allows individuals to identify and pursue their own authentic path for growth and discovery. I specialize in working with loved ones affected by problematic substance use and individuals who want to make positive changes whether abstinence is or is not their goal.
